11" Brass Surya Dev Dhokra Wall Hanging

This 11-inch brass wall hanging depicts Surya Dev, the sun god, rendered in the distinctive Dhokra art tradition. The figure presents a frontal, radiating presence suited to wall display, with the warm patina of hand-cast brass catching light across its shallow 1.5-inch depth. Dhokra's ancient lost-wax casting technique shows in the surface texture and fine detail typical of this metalwork heritage.

Mounted flat against your wall, this piece functions as both spiritual symbol and sculptural accent, the brass developing richer tones over time. Its square proportions and modest weight make it accessible for placement above an altar, entryway, or living area where morning light can play across the casting.
